Both my personal and professional experiences have shaped my work as a therapist.
My personal experience includes growing up as a child of Taiwanese immigrants, living overseas in Europe as an adult, advocating for social justice, and parenting my teens.
My professional experience includes providing individual, family, and group counseling at Duke University Medical Center, Elon University Counseling Center, and multiple behavioral health agencies, as well as providing clinical training and supervision to mental health clinicians and as a field instructor supervising graduate school degree seeking trainees for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am also a Certified Clinical Supervisor.
